San Jose Roof Repair was born from a simple frustration: the roofing industry was stuck in the past. Handwritten estimates on clipboards. Inspectors who missed damage because they couldn't safely reach every part of the roof. Homeowners left in the dark from contract to completion with no visibility into their project.

David Harmon spent 18 years watching these problems play out on job sites across Metro San Jose. In 2007, he decided to fix them. He built San Jose Roof Repair from the ground up with a technology-first approach: drone-equipped inspection teams, FLIR thermal imaging diagnostics, satellite-measured estimates, and a real-time digital dashboard that gives every homeowner full transparency into their roofing project.

Today, San Jose Roof Repair has completed over 2,500 projects across Willow Glen, Rose Garden, Cupertino, Fremont, Los Gatos, and Milpitas. Every project is backed by precision technology and hands-on craftsmanship from certified crews who take pride in their work.

David Harmon

Founder & CEO, San Jose Roof Repair

David started his career in roofing at 19, working on crews across California during summers. After earning a degree in construction management from California Tech, he spent a decade in residential and commercial roofing before founding San Jose Roof Repair.

What sets David apart is his obsession with precision. He became an FAA-licensed drone pilot to personally conduct aerial inspections. He earned FLIR thermography certification to detect hidden moisture problems that destroy roofs from the inside. And he built a proprietary digital workflow that tracks every project from first call to final walkthrough.
